Blind Contour Drawings

Today I did some blind contour drawings. Personally I'm not really a fan of those; one time I couldn't tell what I drew. Right now I'm not sure what the exercise's purpose is about. I'm really looking forward to doing perspective with the group.

There's no such thing as perfection

As my last post says, ''Practice makes perfect.''  I was wrong; there's no such thing as perfect. I wish there was such thing as perfect, and I wish my pictures were that. I'm posting up my pictures today. I know they look kind of lousy, but I put time into it. I also put up an oil painting. I did it a few weeks ago. I hope you  like them.

Practice Makes Perfect

Today I drew two pictures . One I did from memory, and the other one I did from a picture. The first one I did was easy because I didn't have to look at any specific lines. The second picture I did was dreadful; it looked like a football guy to me. Tomorrow I'll post both of them and you can see how they look. Whether they're good or bad . The second one definitely needs some practice , so like the title, practice will make perfect.

Report Card

This week I got my first report card for this semester. STRAIGHT A'S! In science we learned about animal behavior . It's cool because we get to switch teachers . Right now in social studies we are learning about famous Americans. For example, we learned that Thomas Jefferson was the one who wrote the Declaration of Independence. I'm also in a program called Challenge. It's for kids who are above their grade level. I for one was tested in kindergarten. By the way, my best subject is math. Once I got an A++! Also I'm in the highest reading group in my grade! My dad and I are working on multiplication and division using khanacademy.org. He's a cool dad. By the way I'm sorry if I was bragging; I'm just really proud.
